MOZA's first Xbox-licensed bundle — and it is direct drive
The Xbox & PC version of the MOZA R3 Bundle is MOZA's first kit built under an official Microsoft licence. The box holds the R3 direct drive base, a 280 mm ESX wheel and the two-pedal SR-P Lite set; the table clamp, power supply, cables and tools are already inside. The same kit runs on an Xbox Series X|S or Xbox One console and on a Windows PC — no adapters involved. The R3 motor puts its 3.9 Nm peak straight onto the wheel shaft, with no belt and no gearbox, so the feedback is detailed and free of the dead spots typical of budget wheels. The aviation-grade aluminium housing uses MOZA's X-shaped design with intelligent temperature control, the encoder is 15-bit, USB polling runs at 1000 Hz and rated power is 60 W. The ESX wheel is finished in hard-wearing ISF PU grips, with an aluminium alloy face plate and shift paddles. It carries 22 programmable buttons in the Xbox layout and a strip of ten high-brightness RGB rev LEDs. The SR-P Lite pedals are built on high-strength steel, use contactless Hall sensors and adjust for spacing and height.

An Xbox licence, no adapters
MOZA built this kit together with Microsoft, so the console recognises the wheel as a native device: plug in the cable and drive. Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One are supported, and the same kit works unchanged on a Windows PC. For a household where a console and a computer sit side by side, that is one set instead of two.
- 02
3.9 Nm of direct drive
In a typical budget wheel a belt or plastic gears sit between the motor and your hands, muting fine detail and adding play around centre. In the R3 the rim is mounted straight onto the servo shaft, so the 3.9 Nm peak arrives instantly and kerb texture or front-end push read clearly. MOZA specifically highlights the low torque ripple — the wheel does not jitter at small forces.
- 03
The ESX wheel: Xbox buttons and ten LEDs
The 280 mm rim is wrapped in hard-wearing ISF PU, and the face plate and shift paddles are aluminium alloy rather than plastic. The wheel carries 22 programmable buttons, including the full Xbox set, a D-pad and the Xbox Guide button, so you never have to let go in console menus. A strip of ten high-brightness RGB LEDs shows revs and is configurable in Pit House.
- 04
Steel pedals, not plastic
The SR-P Lite set is built entirely on high-strength steel and stands on an anti-slip base, so it does not slide across the floor under load. The Hall sensors work without contact and do not wear down over time, unlike the potentiometers in cheaper sets. Pedal spacing and plate height adjust to you, and throttle and brake curves can be reshaped in Pit House.
- 05
Clamps to a desk, moves to a rig
The clamp is in the box, so a solid desk is all you need to start — there is no need to buy a stand or a cockpit straight away. The base has four threaded holes underneath: when a frame does arrive, the same base bolts onto it. Dedicated ports for pedals, a dash display and USB let the setup grow without taking up the computer's ports.
Compatibility
The kit is officially licensed for Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One and at the same time works on Windows 10 and 11 PCs. It connects directly with the cable in the box: no separate adapter or dongle is needed. Among supported Xbox titles MOZA names Forza Horizon 5, Forza Motorsport and the F1 series. On PC the kit works with mainstream sim racing titles and is tuned in MOZA Pit House: feedback strength, pedal curves, button mapping and LED brightness. On console, some parameters are set from the in-game menu. The R3 base accepts MOZA wheels through the shared quick release, but only the ESX rim carries the Xbox layout — swap it for a rim without the Xbox licence and the kit stays PC-only.

Questions
Do I need a separate adapter for Xbox?
No. The kit is officially licensed by Microsoft, so the console sees it as a native device. Just connect the cable from the box to an Xbox Series X|S or Xbox One. The same kit also works on a Windows 10 or 11 PC without any changes.
How does the R3 differ from the R5 bundle?
The R3 delivers a 3.9 Nm peak and carries the official Xbox licence; the R5 delivers 5.5 Nm but is PC-only. The R3 rim is the 280 mm ESX with Xbox buttons, while the R5 uses the 11-inch ES in microfibre leather. Pedals and clamp are of the same class in both kits. If you do not need a console, the R5 gives a heavier, more detailed wheel.
Can the kit be used on a normal desk?
Yes — the table clamp is included and designed exactly for that. The desk should be stable: the load at 3.9 Nm is modest, but a wobbly or glass top still will not do. The base can move to a cockpit later, as there are four threaded holes underneath.
