01 / How it works

Four spokes and 400 mm instead of a race rim

The MOZA TSW Truck Wheel is built for hauling, not for lap times. Its 400 mm rim matches the standard diameter of a real truck steering wheel, and the classic four-spoke layout and button icons are aimed at trucking and farming simulators. For anyone who spends hours in ETS2, American Truck Simulator or Farming Simulator, a rim this size feels nothing like a 280 mm racing wheel. Underneath sits a 4 mm aerospace-grade aluminium internal frame, with a polymer-composite spoke and hub casing and a rim wrapped in hand-stitched microfibre leather, perforated where your hands rest. The face carries 14 short-travel buttons with RGB backlighting (16.7 million colours), two ultra-thin joysticks, two aluminium thumbwheels and a strip of 10 RGB LEDs that can be driven by telemetry. A sticker set is included so you can label the buttons for your own mapping. The wheel mounts through MOZA's all-aluminium quick release and connects either wired or wirelessly. It works with every MOZA base, and with third-party bases through the MOZA universal hub, which is sold separately. Buttons, lighting and joystick functions are configured in MOZA Pit House. The dedicated truck-wheel mount is also a separate accessory.

  1. 01

A rim straight from the cab

400 mm is the standard diameter of a truck steering wheel, and that is exactly what MOZA built the TSW around. Together with the four-spoke layout it changes how you drive: you wind on lock with wide hand-over-hand movements instead of the small corrections a racing wheel asks for. The rim is wrapped in hand-stitched microfibre, perforated where your hands sit, so long hauls stay comfortable.

  2. 02

    A 4 mm aluminium frame

Inside the rim sits a 4 mm aerospace-grade aluminium frame, with the spoke and hub casing moulded from polymer composite. MOZA rates the structure for millions of turns, and you feel it as the absence of play where the wheel meets the hub. A large rim on a strong base loads the mount far harder than a compact racing wheel does, so rigidity here is a requirement rather than a talking point.

  3. 03

    14 buttons labelled for hauling

The short-travel buttons give a crisp tactile click and light up in 16.7 million colours, with icons chosen for trucking tasks — lights, horns, retarder, axle lift. If your mapping differs, a sticker set in the box lets you relabel the keys you use. Across the top runs a strip of 10 RGB LEDs that you can hand over to telemetry or to your own indicators.

  4. 04

Joysticks and wheels instead of menus

Two ultra-thin joysticks act as D-pads for menus, mirrors and cameras without taking a hand off the rim; MOZA says they are designed to resist accidental inputs. The two textured aluminium thumbwheels suit cruise control or any other gradual adjustment. In a trucking sim with dozens of small functions, that saves more time than any extra torque at the base.

  5. 05

Quick release and an open ecosystem

The wheel comes off and goes back on in seconds through MOZA's all-metal quick release — handy if one base has to serve both a racing rim and a truck rim. The TSW works with every MOZA base, and owners of other brands' bases can use MOZA's universal hub, sold separately. Connection is wired or wireless, and everything is configured in MOZA Pit House.

02 / Details & compatibility

Compatibility

Compatible with all MOZA bases. Third-party bases are supported through the MOZA universal hub (sold separately). Configuration runs in MOZA Pit House on PC. The truck-wheel mount is a separate accessory: MOZA states 0–75° of angle adjustment, table clamping for 3–70 mm tops, and aluminium-profile mounting.

Questions

Will the TSW fit a non-MOZA base?

Yes. MOZA states that the TSW connects to third-party bases through the MOZA universal hub, which is sold separately. With MOZA's own bases the wheel is directly compatible, with no adapter needed.

Does a rim this large need a special mount?

The wheel mounts to the base through MOZA's standard quick release, so no extra bracket is required. MOZA does offer a dedicated truck-wheel mount, which the manufacturer specifies at 0–75° of tilt, clamping onto 3–70 mm table tops and compatible with aluminium profile. It is a separate accessory and is not in the TSW box.

How is the TSW different from a racing wheel?

Size and control logic. MOZA's racing wheels are 280–330 mm with a lap-focused layout: clutch paddles, balance dials, pit-limiter buttons. The TSW has a 400 mm rim, four spokes, 14 buttons iconed for truck functions, two joysticks for menus and cameras, and two thumbwheels. It is less suited to a circuit and noticeably better suited to a route.

How does the preorder work and when does it arrive?

The TSW is sold on preorder. A GEEKSHOP manager contacts you, confirms the order and the configuration, and from that point delivery takes roughly one month. The manager will give you the exact date at confirmation.
