01 / How it works

The wheel sits like it does in a truck cab, without a cockpit

The Clamp for Truck Wheel is MOZA's desk mount for drivers who live in Euro Truck Simulator 2, American Truck Simulator and Farming Simulator. A normal mount holds the wheel almost upright, like in a car; this bracket lets you lay the base back and find a truck-cab driving position for the big 400 mm TSW wheel. The structure is high-strength steel: two clamps with thumb screws hold the bracket on the edge of the desk, and the side plates with their arc slots set the tilt anywhere from 0 to 75 degrees. The clamp takes desktops between 3 mm and 70 mm thick, so it works on a thin laminated top as well as a thick solid-wood one. No cockpit is required: the bracket is designed for a desk setup in the first place, but it can also go onto an aluminium profile rig once you build a full cab. The base, wheel and pedals are not included — this is the mount only. If you are not sure it suits your MOZA base model, check with the GEEKSHOP manager before ordering.

  1. 01

The wheel lies back like in a cab

In a truck the steering column sits far flatter than in a car, and that is exactly what a normal desk mount takes away. The bracket lays the base back to the angle you want, so the big TSW wheel ends up where it belongs — under your hands rather than in front of your chest. On long ETS2 hauls you feel the difference in seating within half an hour.

  2. 02

    From 0 to 75 degrees

The tilt is set by arc slots in the side plates: loosen the screws, pick your angle, tighten them again. The 0–75° range covers an almost upright racing position, a flat truck position and everything in between for bus and farming mods. The screws run through the slots and pinch the side plates from both sides, so the chosen angle is held mechanically.

  3. 03

Desktops from 3 to 70 mm

Two thumb-screw clamps tighten by hand, with no tools, and hold the bracket on a desk edge between 3 mm and 70 mm thick. That is a wide range: thin laminated tops, solid wood and desks with a reinforced edge all work. Before you install it, check that the edge is flat and the desk itself does not wobble — under direct drive loads the desk is usually the weak link.

  4. 04

    Steel now, a rig later

The bracket is steel throughout, with lightening cut-outs and a wide support frame — MOZA's own photos show it resting on two separated clamps rather than one. When the desk setup is no longer enough, the same mount moves onto an aluminium profile rig: MOZA states compatibility with profile builds. You will not need to buy another bracket when you move to a cockpit.

02 / Details & compatibility

Compatibility

The bracket is made for MOZA desk and profile setups: it clamps onto a 3–70 mm desktop or bolts to an aluminium profile rig. Base tilt adjusts between 0 and 75°, which is what gives the truck-style position behind the TSW wheel. MOZA does not publish a full list of compatible bases, so it is worth confirming your base model with the GEEKSHOP manager before ordering. The base, wheel and pedals are not included.

unconfirmed

  • Base tilt anywhere from 0 to 75°
  • Clamps desktops from 3 to 70 mm
  • Steel frame and two clamps on the desk edge
  • Also fits aluminium profile rigs

Questions

Will the bracket fit my MOZA base?

MOZA describes it as a mount for setups in its own ecosystem and does not publish a full list of bases. So before ordering, message the GEEKSHOP manager with your base and wheel model — we will check the mounting dimensions and tell you whether a standard desk clamp would suit you better.

Do I need a cockpit or is a desk enough?

A desk is enough: the bracket clamps onto a desktop between 3 and 70 mm thick and needs no cockpit. MOZA also lists compatibility with aluminium profile rigs, so the mount stays useful when you move to a full cab.

Are the wheel and base included?

No, this is the mount only. The direct drive base, the TSW truck wheel and the pedals are bought separately. MOZA does not publish the box contents — if you need the exact list of parts and hardware, the GEEKSHOP manager can check it with the supplier.

How does the preorder work and how long is the wait?

This item is taken as a preorder. Once the GEEKSHOP manager confirms the order, delivery takes about a month; the exact timing depends on the current shipment and is given at confirmation.
