01 / How it works

mBooster force should go into the rig, not into flex

The mBooster Base Plate is MOZA's own steel foundation for the mBooster Active Pedal and the CRP pedal family. An active pedal generates real push-back force, so it needs a genuinely rigid mount: on a soft or flexing base part of that force is lost to deflection and the brake stops feeling the same lap after lap. The plate is made from high-strength steel. Holes for CRP pedals are already drilled, so a CRP/CRP2 set bolts straight onto the plate and pairs with the mBooster without any modification. The hole grid and the cross slots let you set pedal position to suit your seating, and the design also supports multi-unit mBooster Active Pedal builds. The plate fastens to a cockpit or rig with 4–6 M8 bolts, and it is compatible with MOZA's inverted pedal mounting bracket. Before ordering, check that your rig has suitable M8 mounting points, and confirm the hardware set for your specific frame with a GEEKSHOP manager.

  1. 01

An active pedal needs a rigid mount

The mBooster Active Pedal does not only read force — it creates it, simulating ABS, wheelspin and engine vibration. All of that force goes into the base. If the pedals sit on a thin sheet or a soft structure, part of the travel turns into frame flex and the brake's bite point drifts. The steel mBooster Base Plate removes that variable: the force goes into the rig instead of into deflection.

  2. 02

CRP2 and mBooster side by side, no rework

Holes for CRP pedals are drilled at the factory, so an "mBooster on the brake plus CRP2 on the throttle" layout assembles on one plate with standard hardware. No new holes to drill, no adapters to hunt down, no cutting rig profile. The plate sets the correct relative pedal position straight away.

  3. 03

A hole grid that fits your seating

Two cross slots and a dense hole grid give room to set pedal spacing and fore-aft position. A stretched-out formula seating position and an upright GT one need different geometry — the plate lets you dial it in once and lock it. The integrated heel area helps keep a steady footing under heavy braking.

  4. 04

Bolt it into the rig and you are done

The plate pulls down onto the cockpit with 4–6 M8 bolts — standard for aluminium profile and most steel rigs. MOZA's inverted pedal mounting bracket is supported too, if you are building a formula layout. And if you plan to expand, the design accommodates several mBooster active pedals on one plate.

Questions

Do I need the plate if I already have a rig?

Not mandatory, but it solves two things at once: a rigid steel base for an active pedal and a ready hole pattern for a CRP/CRP2 set next to the mBooster. If your rig has no suitable pedal deck, or you are running the mBooster together with CRP2, the plate makes the build much simpler.

Will the plate fit SRP2 or SR-P Lite pedals?

MOZA officially lists compatibility with the mBooster Active Pedal and CRP/CRP2 pedals — those are the holes that are drilled. The manufacturer says nothing about SRP2 or SR-P Lite, so we do not promise it. Message a GEEKSHOP manager with your pedal model and we will check the mounting dimensions before you order.

What hardware do I need to mount it in a cockpit?

The plate takes 4–6 M8 bolts — the standard for 40×40 aluminium profile and most steel rigs. MOZA does not publish the pack contents, so it is worth confirming hardware for your frame with a manager first: profile T-nut types differ between rig makers.

When will my order arrive?

This item is sold on preorder. Once a GEEKSHOP manager confirms the order, delivery takes about a month. The manager will give you the exact timing at confirmation — it depends on the current shipment batch.
